Your employees are already using AI at work. The question is what they’re pasting into it. 👀

Verizon’s 2026 breach report: regular AI use by employees jumped from 15% to 45% in one year — and two-thirds are on personal accounts your business can’t see. That’s client files, patient info, and financials leaving through a browser tab. Not a hacker. A helpful employee on a deadline.

3 things to check this week:
1️⃣ Who’s using which AI tools? Just ask — you’ll be surprised.
2️⃣ Is there a written rule for what can’t go in? Most small businesses have none.
3️⃣ Is anyone actually getting time back, or is it just risk with no return?

AI isn’t the enemy. Unmanaged AI is. Handle the risk, then use the same tools to cut the busywork you’re already paying for.

15-minute AI Risk Check. No cost, no obligation, and the written report is yours either way. Nothing’s covered until you book it.

1️ Turn on MFA — email, banking, M365. Free, 10 minutes.
2️⃣ Test your backup. Actually restore a file.
3️⃣ Run the updates you keep snoozing.
4️⃣ Talk to your team about phishing. One click is all it takes.
5️⃣ Know who’s watching your network after hours. If it’s “nobody” — that’s the gap.

Want a second set of eyes? We’ll run a free risk check on your business — NIST-aligned, no obligation, you keep the written report either way.

UniFi keeps proving that enterprise-grade infrastructure doesn’t have to mean enterprise-level complexity.

Storage is one of those things businesses rarely think about—until they run out of it, lose something important, or realize their current solution has become a mess.

That’s why we like what Ubiquiti is building with UniFi. Their storage solutions bring centralized management, scalable capacity, and the ability to keep your data on infrastructure you control.

At SAINT Technology Services, we’re already building UniFi into networks, security systems, and IT environments across Nebraska. Storage gives us another piece of the infrastructure stack we can design, deploy, and manage for our clients.

Whether you’re looking at:

💾 Business file storage
🎥 High-capacity video surveillance storage
🔄 Local backups and redundancy
🏢 Multi-site infrastructure
🔐 Keeping critical data under your control

There are some seriously interesting possibilities here.

Check out UniFi’s video below to see what they’re building.

Security. AI. Infrastructure. Networks. Technology.
That’s SAINT.

Would you like to take a guess?! Anyone?

We have put our 3D printer to work over the last 24hrs whippin out some models. This is the second part to a much larger piece!

Since we love plants and thrive to eat real foods, we turned to a vertical hydroponic tower build for our tasty plants we love on the dinner table. These here are the median grow cups that you place in the tower and let the water pass through.

3D printing services is one of our hidden menu items! We don’t market the service but have it to offer if you are in need of something unique for your business. We can do a variety of hardware mounts and other products.

Happy Sunday!

Beautiful evening for a walk to the park with the wife and kiddos! Everyone deserves some down time. These bugs though…they are about to annoy me or carry me away one of the two.

Nine states just publicly confirmed cyberattacks on their water systems.

Nebraska isn’t on that map. Yet.

Here’s the part that matters: CSIS found no discernible pattern. Nobody picked these towns. The campaign was broad, not targeted — attackers swept for whatever was exposed and walked in where the door was unlocked.

That’s the exact same logic that hits a dental office in Lincoln or a machine shop in Omaha. Nobody has to decide you’re worth attacking. You just have to be reachable.

Three things to check this week:

1. Anything that touches the internet — remote access, controllers, cameras, badge readers — sits behind MFA, not a default password.
2. Someone is actually watching it after hours.
3. You’ve restored from a backup in the last 90 days. Not “we have one.” Restored.

If you run a business or a municipality in Nebraska and can’t say yes to all three, I’ll walk through it with you in 15 minutes. No cost, no obligation, and you keep the written report either way. Message me.

A storm can turn a brief power problem into a security and operations problem.

Picture this scenario: A Nebraska facility loses power for a few seconds during a severe storm. The access control panel reboots. Staff are forced to use manual overrides, while cameras or other security devices may lose visibility at the worst possible time.

The lesson is straightforward:

• Put critical security hardware on properly sized backup power.
• Keep physical security systems separated from the general business network so one network issue does not take down the entire perimeter.

The goal is to keep people safe, maintain controlled access, and give staff a clear recovery path when the grid goes down.

When the power drops at your building, do your security systems stay online or go dark?

Lincoln businesses: yesterday’s storm was a technology stress test. 🌧️

Flooded streets and stranded vehicles were the obvious impact.

But there’s another question business owners should be asking this morning:

What would have happened to your business if the power, internet, network, cameras or computers went down with it?

Severe weather can expose technology problems that stay hidden during normal operations.

A 30-second power interruption can reboot network equipment.
A damaged ISP connection can take an entire office offline.
An undersized UPS can fail when you actually need it.
Water intrusion can destroy thousands of dollars in equipment.
Offline cameras can create a security blind spot.
And poor backups can turn damaged hardware into lost business data.

The important question isn’t whether your technology works today.

It’s:

How quickly could your business recover when something fails?

At SAINT Technology Services, we help Lincoln-area businesses build technology environments designed around resilience, security and recovery — not just keeping the Wi-Fi working.

That can include:

⚡ UPS & power protection
🌐 Internet redundancy & cellular failover
☁️ Cloud backup & disaster recovery
🛡️ Managed cybersecurity
🖥️ Managed IT & endpoint monitoring
📡 Network infrastructure
📹 Video surveillance
🔐 Access control
🚨 Remote monitoring & alerting

Yesterday was a good reminder that Nebraska weather doesn’t care whether your business is prepared.

Before the next storm, find the weak point.

If you’re a Lincoln-area business owner and yesterday’s weather made you question your technology setup, send SAINT a message.

We’ll help you figure out what happens when the power goes out, the internet disappears, or critical equipment fails — and what you can do about it.
