On Thursday, March 21, High Point University’s Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy’s ASAHP-SSHP organizations held a program on networking and small talk. The focus of the program was to provide guidance on how to conduct “small talk,” specifically in a networking environment. Practicing pharmacists often attend conferences where mingling hours are held. This program, conducted by Sindy Martin of Smartin International, Inc. of High Point, provided insight on how to properly initiate and exit a conversations with fellow professionals and proper protocol of eating while networking.
