I wanted to make a quick reminder on “how to” set up a consult with me & the services I offer.

All consults involve a 60-90 min thorough health history on mom & baby, hands on assessment for mom & baby, feeding/pumping assessment, & plan moving forward to address concerns. Visits can be virtual or in-person (at your home).

I am a one woman show, so reaching out to me directly is the easiest way to schedule a visit! I work part time as an RN & also homeschool 2 of my 4 children, so availability varies each week, but I am often able to fit in same-week visits.

If you or baby has Anthem BC/BC or UHC, clients can use my eligibility link to verify coverage for visits. Insurance visits allow clients to have up to 6 visits (yes, $0) in the comfort of your home! (Cigna plans *may* be covered & are case by case!)

For those who do not have the insurance plans listed, cash prices are available! I travel up to 30 miles from my home without having a travel fee.

Despite the lack of interaction on my business page, I am still often seeing post partum mamas in the comfort of their own homes. Throughout 2024, I have appreciated & cherished all of the referrals. Word of mouth is a powerful thing, my friends! I can’t thank you all enough.

I can’t promise in 2025 I will be more active on this business page, but I CAN promise that I am still, very much, providing lactation care 🤍

I wanted to briefly share how I came up with the name Deeply Latched. 🙂 everything I am, have done, & will do is because God has lead me here. I truly feel like lactation support is the Lord’s work. Christ came to us as a vulnerable child, who was born from his mother. Motherhood is a beautiful gift from God, & it is an incredible honor being invited into such holy space.

When trying to decide on a business name, I wanted something that honored Christ. My initial thought was “Deeply Latched—Deeply Rooted in Christ”. Which I still love, but I wanted to ensure my business name did not intimidate or cause hesitation to families when reaching out for lactation support. I, then, decided to shorten it to Deeply Latched. Which of course still holds the original meaning—to be deeply rooted in Christ. 🤍

No matter what walk of life you are on, I feel genuinely called to meet mothers where they are at & help them reach whatever feeding goals they may have for their baby.

Eligible clients receive up to 6 in-home visits 100% covered by insurance. 1 visit can even be used for prenatal education.

Fill out the form attached to the QR code to verify insurance eligibility. Both you & I will recieve an email after insurance is verified & then we can plan your visit! ☺️

❌Blanket statements like this are not helpful!

These statements, when given in the wrong context can further contribute to feeding issues, low milk supply, or even go hand in hand with bottle refusal when a parent may have to go back to work.

✅If a parent is needing to supplement their baby, they likely need to be pumping.

✅If a parent has a baby that cannot efficiently remove milk at the breast, they likely need to be pumping.

✅If a parent is returning to work and their baby needs to take a bottle while they are away, they likely need to be pumping.

✅If a parent has a low milk supply, they likely need to be pumping.

✅If a parent WANTS to pump, they likely need to be pumping.

✅If a parent is flagged as high risk for low supply during a prenatal appointment, they likely need to be pumping.

Getting "general education" that "you should not be pumping for the first 6 weeks" can be detrimental or anxiety inducing for a parent that may not have access to feeding support.

Instead let's work toward educating parents on WHEN THEY SHOULD start pumping, things to look out for, and how to create a sustainable routine for them should pumping be a part of their feeding plan!

Our next support group for postpartum mamas is set for next Friday 9/8 @ 5 pm.

Whether you're feeling hesitant or eager, we welcome you. Our goal is to provide the comfort, community, and connection all parents need.

Deeply Latched LLC will be available to offer guidance and answer any breastfeeding questions you might have. Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation will also have helpful resources on infant massage colic routine and Headstart programs. And regain strength and well-being from HannahBower2's Functional Core Program.

There is nothing like those fresh post-partum days.. days of newborn bliss, pure exhaustion, easily triggered tears and hormones, leaking bodily fluids like you never have before, or when you feel like you’re body is moving is slow motion from the soreness of bringing your baby earth side..

Did you know that the post partum hormone drop is the single largest hormone shift in the shortest amount of time that any human will endure, in any part of their life?

This can mean a lot of different things for a lot of different people, & support is imperative.

Since I do house calls, truthfully, I have a hard time deciding what to wear. Working full-time RN, I practically live in scrubs.

I wanted something I could wear that was professional, but casual to break down any barriers between patients & the medical field.
