🚫 Stop Jet-Spraying Your Plants: A PSA
I can’t tell you how many times I arrive at a property, check the hose, and find it set to JET. 🛑

While I love that our clients take the initiative to water, most people truly don’t know how damaging this is.

Here is why the jet setting is the ultimate garden villain:

1. It’s a Soil Earthquake (Erosion)
That high-pressure blast obliterates the soil. It digs massive craters, removes mulch, and exposes delicate roots to the harsh elements.

2. Root Trauma
The force of a jet stream can snap fine root hairs—the exact parts of the root system responsible for actually absorbing water and nutrients.

3. Leaf and Stem Carnage
Stems can snap, and leaves can tear under the pressure. These micro-tears act as open invitations for bacteria, fungi, and pests to move right in.

4. The “Splashback” Effect
Blasting the dirt splashes mud up onto the lower leaves. Soil naturally harbors pathogens; when that muddy splashback dries on the foliage, it’s a fast track to fungal diseases like black spot or powdery mildew.

🚿 What to do instead:
Switch that nozzle to Shower! Your plants want a gentle, deep rain simulation, not a water cannon.
