For a long time I thought if I could just make a good enough candle, the rest would figure itself out.
It didn’t.
I had the candles down. What I didn’t have was any clue how to get into stores, keep orders coming in, or get people to actually find us.
That part is what nobody teaches you. And it’s the part that almost made me quit more than once.
We eventually figured it out. But we did it the slow, lonely way, and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
