On April 18, 2026, Mike Murphy and Cat Staviski made their union official. Surrounded by incredible family and friends, we felt deeply honored to share this joyous occasion with those who mean the most to us. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for everyone who came together to celebrate our special day.
First and foremost, we thank God for blessing us with beautiful weather that allowed us to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor aspects of our wedding. We are truly grateful for this gift, which made the day even more memorable.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Sayer McShane, Kristin and Carolyn, whose amazing music set the perfect tone for the evening. Dancing under the stars was a magical experience, and their rendition of "Songbird" made walking down the aisle unforgettable. Thank you for sharing your talents with us; you are truly gifted friends.
We are immensely thankful to our wonderful friends and family who helped with both leading up to the event, setting up and breaking down the event. Special thanks go to Leslie Reynen, Christine Walorz, Brandon Rash, Kathy Neu, Donna Ferrara, Lori Makinen (our new sister-in-law), Gail Berry, Cheryl Staviski (Maid of Honor), Sara Staviski, Jim and Kelly Moore, Sue and Mike Galletti, Eileen Donovan, Chelsea Cole, and Mike’s best man Lou Doan, who tirelessly hauled, set up, broke down, and signed off on the whole evening. We hope we haven’t missed anyone, as so many jumped in to help. Your generosity and teamwork made everything possible.
We also want to thank our high school heroes—Addison Stevens, Ashley Zuckeman, and Sydney Darrah—whose energy, creativity, and thoroughness helped make our dining experience exceptional.
The evening would not have been as meaningful without Pastor Bob Zonts and his lovely wife (and our friend) Cindi Zonts. We are honored that you traveled from Pittsburgh, PA to Holly Spring, NC to officiate our ceremony. Your spiritual guidance, love, and humor added so much to our celebration. We are grateful for your presence and the blessings you shared.
As we reflect on this extraordinary day, we are reminded of the love and support that surrounds us. Our wedding was not just a celebration of our union, but a testament to the incredible community of family and friends who make our lives so rich and meaningful.
To everyone who played a part—whether you traveled from afar, lent a helping hand, shared your talents, or simply blessed us with your presence—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are so grateful for your kindness, generosity, and friendship.
