Been a while since I’ve updated everyone on our recent adventures. After about 6 months of battling the DOT mouth breathers, we finally got our own hangar! Bill Jager decided to go all out with the hangar floor, and now we are able to overhaul other companies’ helicopters as well as maintain our very own! Tourism has picked back up and the
Heli has been flying like crazy! Amazing transition from almost closing the doors due to Covid. Be sure to follow our tour company Honolulu Helicopter Tours for more flying adventures as well!

This has been a turbulent year for everyone, there is no doubt about that. Chopper Doctor has felt the keen bite of the pandemic, but we will survive. Since Congress can’t seem to come to terms on another relief program for the small businesses of America to help us survive the hardships of lockdown, I’ve had to change my focus for the time being in order to keep the bills paid until the state opens back up.

Since California is up in flames, I’ve decided to link up with Ryco Helicopters and run ground crew and maintenance on a UH-1H. I’ll be out in Visalia fighting the Sequoia fires for the next couple weeks.

It has been a powerful and humbling experience working with these amazing machines, and I have a growing respect for the men and women that are out at the front lines, taking in the heat and smoke to save the homes and lives of countless California residents.

We have many more big things in the works for the future, stay tuned.

Been a while since I’ve checked in to share my recent adventures. Chopper Doctor and employees are feeling thankful to have any work at all during this pandemic, but we also managed to complete our third helicopter sale in a year. This helicopter required a lot of work, but ended up looking quite beautiful and flies like a dream.

Big thanks to Pacific Helicopter Tours in Maui for lending the space to work, and Ali’i Air Tours in Kauai for the purchase. I hope she treats you well

Another productive trip to Japan, brought some of the crew this time! Toured around, enjoyed the sights....and bought another helicopter.

Been quite the adventure for this beautiful bird. Disassembled in Nagasaki, transported to Osaka, shipped to Maui, then flown to Oahu. Sale number two complete! Look to the skies of Kaua’i soon to see this bird in flight.

It isn’t a Friday the 13th without some sort of mishap. Flew to the Hana airport today to rescue stranded pilots with a flat tire!

Feeling very nostalgic today as I fly 500 feet over Waikiki the same helicopter I flew from Tokyo to Osaka in Japan just a few months ago. A monumental occasion for Chopper Doctor as we’ve completed our first import, registration, airworthiness cert and sale, with many more to come!
