"Then He said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.'" – John 20:27

After the resurrection, Jesus didn’t return to prove a point—
He returned to restore hearts.

He appeared in locked rooms, along dusty roads, and in quiet moments of confusion and grief.
He didn’t rush past their doubt—He entered it.
He didn’t shame their fear—He spoke peace over it.

Jesus Appeared to...
🔹 Mary Magdalene, weeping by the tomb. He called her by name.
🔹 The disciples, hiding behind locked doors. He stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”
🔹 Two travelers on the road to Emmaus, revealing Himself as He broke bread.
🔹 Thomas, who said he wouldn’t believe unless he saw the wounds for himself.

And what did Jesus do?
He didn’t rebuke them.
He met them in their sorrow, their hiding, their questions.
He let Thomas touch the wounds.
He breathed peace into the fearful.
He broke bread with the hopeless.

💡 Because Jesus doesn’t just rise—He returns.
To the broken. To the doubting. To the ones who feel forgotten.

Maybe You’re Like Thomas Today...
Asking for evidence. Longing for assurance.
And here comes Jesus—not with condemnation, but with compassion.
He says, "If you need to see… then see. But let this build your belief."

Reflection Prompt:
💭 Where do you need Jesus to meet you today?
💭 Are you willing to let Him into your questions… and into your locked rooms?

💬 Drop a ✝️ or 🕊️ in the comments if you’re grateful for a Savior who still shows up—even when we’re unsure.

"He restores my soul. He leads me beside quiet waters." – Psalm 23:3

There’s something sacred about Sabbath in the spring.

I love seeing all the new things that begin to emerge from hiding—flowers peeking through the soil, birds returning with their songs, trees stretching back to life after winter’s stillness.

As I sit on my patio, I’m amazed by the life-giving beauty all around me. The birds building, the trees blooming, the breeze whispering that a new season is here.

🌿 Sabbath isn’t just about stopping—it's about noticing.

It’s letting yourself breathe.
It’s making room for reflection.
It’s watching the world wake up—and remembering that God is always doing something new, even in us.

Spring Sabbaths Are Sacred

💡 Sabbath is soaking in the beauty of now while hoping for what’s to come.
💡 It’s celebrating small beginnings and trusting in slow, steady growth.
💡 It’s letting nature remind us that rest is where renewal begins.

Your Sabbath Invitation Today:

Pause. Breathe. Step outside if you can.
Notice the signs of life around you and thank God for new beginnings—both in nature and in you.

💬 Drop a 🌸 if you’re embracing rest and renewal this Sabbath Saturday.

"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans."
– Romans 8:26

There are moments in life when words fail.
The pain is too deep, the confusion too heavy, and the only thing we can offer God is silence wrapped in tears.

That’s when we find ourselves saying...

"Why… because, because."

We don’t have the words. We don’t have the clarity.

But here’s the good news:
God doesn’t need a perfect explanation to offer perfect comfort.

When You Don’t Know the Why—God Still Does

🔹 He sees the full picture while you’re still living frame by frame.
🔹 He knows what you’re carrying when all you can do is sigh.
🔹 He’s not waiting for a polished prayer—He’s responding to the posture of your heart.

Sometimes wisdom doesn’t look like answers—it looks like surrender.

It’s learning to release what we can’t explain and trust the One who already understands.

Key Message:

💡 You don’t have to explain your pain—God already understands it.
He’s not asking for clarity, He’s offering comfort.

Let's reflect:

📌 Is there something you’ve been trying to make sense of… when you really just need to hand it over to God?
📌 Are you willing to trust Him with your “because, because” moments?

💬 Drop a 🕊️ or ✋🏽 in the comments if you're surrendering the unspoken to the One who speaks peace.

There’s something lovely about Monday.
It’s not just the beginning of a new week—
It’s the doorway to wonder, the space where hope meets opportunity.

Like many of you, my calendar is filled—weeks at a time.

🗓️ Meetings.
📞 Calls.
📌 Appointments.

But there’s one thing I can’t plan—

✨ How God shows up.

Just recently, I was called into a meeting to discuss the future of my son.
They asked, “How would you like to see his life fulfilled within a school setting?”
Without hesitation, I said:
💬 “He will be an asset to the community, a voice for others, and a great citizen.”

And the room responded:
“He will have opportunities that have never been presented to him before—opportunities of a lifetime.” With many details that left me in a state of shock.

I left that room with tears of unspeakable joy, a heart full, and the quiet assurance that:
God will never disappoint.

Let this Monday remind you:

✅ You don’t have to predict how the week will go—
✅ You just need to walk in expecting that God will show up.

📖 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life...” – Psalm 23:6

💬 Drop a ✨ or 🙌 if you’re stepping into this week with expectation and hope!

"Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."
– Matthew 12:50

Jesus deeply valued family. He cared for His mother, honored relationships, and wept with friends—but He also helped us see that family isn’t just about bloodlines, it’s about shared faith and purpose.

There’s a gentle difference between acting like family and living as family.
Sometimes we act like family out of routine—showing up when it’s expected, being kind when it’s easy, or keeping peace for the sake of appearances.

But living as family in God’s Kingdom means loving even when it’s hard, offering forgiveness freely, and walking together in unity—even when it takes work.

📖 1 John 4:20 reminds us:
“If someone says, ‘I love God,’ but hates a brother or sister, that person is a liar. For if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?”

True family love—whether biological or spiritual—reflects God’s heart.
Jesus invites us into a family that may not be perfect, but is rooted in grace, truth, and love. A family that isn’t afraid to grow through challenges and stand together in faith.

What Does Jesus Show Us About Family?
🔹 Family are those who do the will of the Father.
🔹 Family expresses love through everyday actions.
🔹 Family is seen in how we treat those closest to us.

Reflection Prompt:
💭 How can you show God’s love more intentionally to those you call family?
💭 What would change if you viewed both spiritual and biological family as sacred assignments from God?

💬 Drop a ❤️ if you’re committed to being the kind of family Jesus modeled for us.

“He who answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame to him.” – Proverbs 18:13

Spiritual maturity shows up not just in how we worship—but in how we handle conflict, assumptions, and offenses.

We live in a time where it’s easier to take sides than to seek truth. We often hold offenses not because someone hurt us directly, but because someone else told us we should. That’s not discernment—that’s misplaced loyalty.

The Difference Between Loyalty and Faithfulness:

🔹 Loyalty can be rooted in emotion, fear of rejection, or groupthink. It often leads us to follow people instead of Christ.
🔹 Faithfulness, on the other hand, is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). It holds us accountable to truth, justice, and godly love, even when it’s uncomfortable.

💭 When I was a kid, I stopped talking to someone just because a friend told me to. I didn’t have a reason. I inherited an offense that didn’t belong to me. Looking back, I realize that was childish—but many adults are still living that same pattern.

Immaturity Avoids Truth. Maturity Seeks It.
Jesus never avoided hard conversations. He didn’t sidestep the Pharisees, or cancel people who failed. He engaged with clarity, conviction, and compassion.

If we are to follow Him, we must learn to:
✅ Examine before reacting
✅ Seek truth over loyalty
✅ Be faithful even when it's not popular

Key Message:

💡 The truth doesn’t mind being tested—because it always stands.

Reflection for the day:

📌 Is there someone you're offended by without cause?
📌 What assumptions have you made without hearing the full story?

💬 Drop a 🌿 if you’re choosing spiritual maturity over emotional reactions today.

"They were amazed at His answer and became silent." – Luke 20:26

There was something unshakable about the way Jesus responded to traps, tests, and twisted questions. The Pharisees didn’t come to seek truth—they came to sabotage, discredit, and disarm. But every time, Jesus answered with heavenly wisdom that cut through their motives and exposed their hearts.

From taxes to theology, Sabbath laws to spiritual authority, Jesus never flinched.
He wasn’t reactive—He was rooted in truth and led by the Spirit.

What Can We Learn From Jesus' Wisdom?

🔹 He knew when to speak—and when to remain silent.
🔹 He never allowed pressure to cloud His purpose.
🔹 He didn’t fall into emotional traps—He responded with eternal truth.

Like Jesus, We Must Be Ready…

There will be times when people don’t come to understand—they come to undermine.
Some will question your calling, your leadership, or your decisions—not to learn, but to challenge.

And just like in Jesus’ day...

🔹 Some may seek to sabotage your influence
🔹 Others may try to assassinate your character
🔹 Some may even attempt to murder the call of God on your life—through gossip, fear, or spiritual manipulation

Here’s the truth:

You don’t need to defend yourself. You need to be filled with the Word, led by the Spirit, and anchored in wisdom.
Because when you walk in truth, even your silence can speak volumes.

💡 When you're rooted in God’s wisdom, no trap can steal your purpose.

"Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed."
– Matthew 8:8

This Tuesday, we’re reflecting on one of the most powerful testimonies of unshakable, blind faith—the story of the centurion who asked Jesus to heal his servant.

What makes his story so incredible isn’t just the healing—it’s the heart behind the request.

Here’s what we learn from the Centurion’s testimony:
🔹 He knew who Jesus was.
This wasn’t a casual request—he wasn’t guessing. The centurion recognized that Jesus had true, unmatched authority, saying:
"For I myself am a man under authority… I say to one, 'Go,' and he goes."
He understood power—and he knew Jesus held the kind that needed no physical presence to work miracles.

🔹 He believed before he saw.
He didn't need Jesus to lay hands, show signs, or come to his home. He simply said:
"Just say the word."
That’s faith in its purest form.

🔹 His story was recorded so we would remember.
This moment was so impactful, Jesus marveled at his faith. His words, his confidence, his humble approach—they’re all part of a testimony that reminds us:
Faith still moves Jesus.

Your Reflection Today:
💭 Do you believe Jesus can “just say the word” in your life today?
💭 Are you trusting Him without needing to see all the steps?
💭 Is your faith positioned in who He is, not just what He can do?

Your story—your testimony—may be the next one to strengthen someone else's faith.

"He said to them, ‘But who do you say I am?’ Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’" – Matthew 16:15-16

Jesus didn’t ask questions because He needed answers—He asked questions to reveal the hearts of the people He was speaking to. One of the most powerful questions He asked His disciples was:

👉🏽 “Who do you say I am?”

This wasn’t just a theological quiz. It was a deeply personal, transformational moment.

Before He asked that, He posed another:
🔹 “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
The disciples gave Him public opinion—“Some say John the Baptist… Elijah… Jeremiah.”
But then He turned the question inward:
🔹 “But who do YOU say I am?”

And that’s the question you and I still must answer.

Why This Question Still Motivates Us Today:
💡 Your view of Jesus will shape your identity, your decisions, and your direction.
💡 You can't fully walk in purpose until you fully know who He is to you.
💡 Faith isn’t built on crowd opinions—it’s built on personal revelation.

Your Challenge Today:

📌 Take time to reflect on this:
Who is Jesus to you, in this season of your life?
Is He a teacher? A rescuer? A distant figure? Or is He your Savior, your source, your friend, your firm foundation?

💬 Drop a 🔥 or your own answer to that question in the comments:
“Who do you say He is?”

"But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." – Romans 5:8

This season always brings me back to the character of Jesus.
His final days were marked by sweet surrender, deep truth, and unwavering preparation for what was to come.

As a child, I remember watching the six-hour film “Jesus of Nazareth.” I’d cry every time. The way Jesus was treated—the betrayal, the beatings, the mocking—it stirred something in me. I was heartbroken watching "the sinners" treat Him that way.

But if I’m honest… I never really saw myself in that picture.
I didn’t yet understand that He gave His life for me.
That He wasn’t just dying for them—He was dying for me!

And once the season passed… so did the emotion.
I’d move on, forget, and go back to “life.”
Because I knew of Him, but I didn’t know Him.

There’s a difference.
🔹 Knowing of Jesus is being moved by His story.
🔹 Knowing Jesus is allowing that story to live inside of you—to transform you.
🔹 Knowing of Him lets you feel the emotion.
🔹 Knowing Him lets you walk in freedom.

Sometimes we don’t see ourselves as “sinners”—we see others as sinners. But the cross is for all of us. It’s personal.
Not a seasonal thought.
Not a movie moment.
But a living relationship that changes everything.

Your Soulful Sunday Reflection:
💭 Are you simply moved by Him… or are you being transformed by Him?
💭 Have you felt His presence… but still kept Him on the outside?

💬 Drop a ✝️ in the comments if this is the season you’re ready to not just remember Him, but to truly know Him.

04/19/2025

Yesterday, we stood at the foot of the cross.
Tomorrow, we’ll rejoice at the empty tomb.
But today… we wait.

This is the day that often gets overlooked—
But it’s one of the most human, most holy days in the entire story.
It’s the day the disciples grieved.
The day hope felt far.
The day heaven was quiet.

Sabbath After the Crucifixion
📖 Luke 23:56 – “Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes. But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment.”

Even in their grief… they kept the Sabbath.
They waited.
They sat in the silence.
They didn’t know resurrection was just a sunrise away.

What Can We Learn From Holy Saturday?
💡 Sometimes the silence is part of the story.
💡 God is still working—even when He feels quiet.
💡 Waiting doesn't mean abandonment—it often means preparation.

This is the space between “It is finished” and “He is risen.”
The place where faith holds on to what it can't yet see.

Reflection:

💭 What area of your life feels like a Holy Saturday?
💭 Are you willing to trust God in the silence, knowing that Sunday is coming?

💬 Drop a 🌿 or ✝️ if you're learning to wait with hope—even when you can't hear the answer yet.

Today is Good Friday—a day that marks sacrifice, surrender, and salvation.
It’s the day Jesus gave His life so that we could become part of something far greater than our earthly families—the family of God.

I can’t think of a better time to reflect on both the power of the cross and the story God has written in my own life.

There were moments in my life when I questioned where I belonged—
Moments when family felt fractured, when identity felt fragile,
When I looked around and wondered:
Can anything good come from this brokenness?

And yet...
Jesus was working even then.

Just like on Good Friday, when it looked like death had won,
God was already orchestrating a resurrection.

The beauty of the cross is that it didn't just forgive sin—it redefined family.
📖 “Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” – Matthew 12:50

That means your past doesn’t disqualify you.
Your family history doesn’t define you.
The bloodline that matters most now is the blood Jesus shed for you.

This is why I celebrate Family Friday on Good Friday:
🔹 Because I know what it feels like to long for healing and wholeness
🔹 Because I’ve seen God restore broken places in my life and in my home
🔹 Because I’ve learned that true family is found in those who walk with you toward Christ

Let's talk:

💭 How has God redefined “family” in your life?
💭 What does the cross mean for the generations that will follow after you?

💬 Drop a ✝️ or ❤️ if you're thankful that because of Good Friday, you're never without family again.
