Beneath a red and white tent, the words hang heavy.

What once was a slogan for debate is now a lament. The empty chair, the silent table, the waiting cup — they remind us that the loudest voices for freedom are often gone too soon, and that the real test lies not in their words, but in how we respond.

This is not about one man, one moment, or one movement. It is about the space he held — a space where conviction met criticism, where disagreement was not silenced but sharpened, where the First Amendment was not a relic but a living promise.

The call now is for us.
To step into that space.
To argue honestly, to listen deeply, to speak without fear.

Freedom of speech has always demanded courage — the courage to risk being unpopular, the courage to endure being misunderstood, the courage to stand alone at the table and say, “prove me wrong.”

Today the message has shifted: “Prove me he was wrong.”
Prove it by refusing to let free expression die.
Prove it by welcoming dissent instead of drowning it.
Prove it by choosing courage over comfort.

The chair may be empty, but the tent still stands. The crowd still gathers. And the invitation is still open.

America, come back.

A logo that sure needed a refresh but lost all it’s memories tied to it. Not sure why the design team didn’t focus on existing elements of the franchise like the iconic rocking chairs or the peg game.

I would of doubled down on their in store feel but make it more personal. Allow members of their communities to bring their own personal pictures and farm implements, posters etc... from the area so they have a connection to the store/restaurant. Change them out ever so often. Maybe even create a competition at each restaurant where there is one recipe that is a local recipe from one of their customers that is unique to that location.

These are my quick ideas for a logo revamp for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and yes the back of the rocking chair looks like a barrel

Thoughts on this being my new logo? I hate designing for myself so open to criticism

🛶💥 LEGENDARY LOOP COMPLETED 💥🛶
Give it up for Robert Youens, the man, the myth, the captain of the unlikeliest vessel to ever conquer the Great Loop — a JOHN BOAT.

That’s 6,000+ miles of America’s waterways, done in what most people use to fish a pond.

Fuel stops? Frequent.
Comfort? Optional.
Grit? Unlimited.

From the Great Lakes to the Gulf, from the ICW to the Hudson — he did it all with a tin can and a dream.

📍Great Loop: ✅
🏆 America’s most stubborn boater: ✅

Tag someone who says they need a “real boat” to chase their dreams. 💪
