Service has been restored to all customers affected by yesterday’s fiber cut.

We know this was a long, frustrating interruption that stretched through the night and into your Sunday morning. We’re sorry for the disruption to your weekend and the time you spent waiting.

The outage was caused by vandalism to our fiber network. We expect to share more information about the investigation later this week.

Thank you to the crews who worked through the night to complete repairs, and to our customers for your patience throughout this extended outage.

Pine Bluff update — Sunday, October 11 | 7:00 a.m.

This isn’t the update we hoped to share this morning. About half of the customers affected by yesterday’s fiber cut are back online, but we know that offers little comfort if you’re still waiting.

The damage was caused by vandalism to our fiber network. Our crews worked through the night and are continuing repairs this morning to restore service to everyone affected.

You’ve been without service much longer than expected, and we’re sorry. We know this has disrupted your weekend, your plans and the things you depend on us for. Thank you for hanging in there with us. We’ll keep you updated as repairs move forward.

Our crews are still working tonight to repair a major fiber cut affecting many customers in the Pine Bluff area. This outage was caused by vandalism to our network, outside of Cablelynx’s control.

Repairs are expected to continue into the early morning hours. Our team is working to restore service as quickly and safely as possible, and we’ll share updates as more information becomes available.

As you may have seen, Cablelynx recently changed payment processors for credit cards and bank transactions. Because of a temporary labeling issue, payments made through our new system may appear on your bank or credit card statement as WEHCO Video, Inc. instead of Cablelynx or your local cable company. The transaction may also display our corporate phone number instead of 800-903-0508.

No worries—it’s us! If the date and amount match a recent Cablelynx payment, the WEHCO Video, Inc. charge is your Cablelynx payment.
