One of the most freeing lessons I've learned is that not everyone will understand my story.
Not everyone will understand the choices I made, the battles I fought, or the reasons I walked away from certain things.
And that's okay.
I no longer spend my energy trying to convince people who have already decided not to listen.
My peace matters.
My healing matters.
My growth matters.
The people who truly care won't require endless explanations. They will see your heart, respect your journey, and celebrate your progress.
As I've grown older, I've become more protective of my peace and more grateful for the people who bring kindness, honesty, and encouragement into my life.
Sometimes growth isn't about adding more to your life.
Sometimes it's about making room for peace.
