Seeking Professional Engineer

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Professional Engineer (PE). Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized and has a strong desire to work at a high level of accuracy. We offer a professional environment to expand skill sets into other areas of development. This position performs civil and geotechnical engineering duties in support of the design, construction, and management of public and private projects. This position has functional supervision over assigned personnel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and two (2) years of Professional Engineer (PE) experience including relevant project design and construction management; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, certifications, and training in lieu of specifically required qualifications listed above.
Skills in performing engineering computations and in preparing engineering designs.
Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work of subordinate positions to be able to answer questions and resolve problems, usually associated with one to three years’ experience or service.
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Washington for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
Certification as a Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training or the ability to obtain Washington state registration within one year of hire and maintain throughout employment.
Must be able to pass a federal background check and work on public works projects.

Must-Haves:

6+ years of multi-unit 3Operations experience in one or more of the following: retail, restaurant, hotel, leasing, rental, or other customer service operations with responsibility for operating 10+ stores.

Passion for hiring, developing, and retaining top talent to deliver legendary customer experiences.

Experience with controllable expenses and management of expenses.

AM/DM/RM experience

Qualifications:

Previous Area Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager experience required

Essential Duties:

Management of rental rates, discounts, Customer Protection Plan, and other income sources.

Watch controllable expenses to provide the highest R.O.I. for each store.

Performs semi-annual audits and facility checklists, submits findings to division office.

Utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports / P&L; addresses trends and issues in district performance.

Access external resources to support district-wide operations and to execute district and regional initiatives such as human resources, revenue.
