"How to Read a Person Like a Book" by Gerard I. Nierenberg offers insights into understanding nonverbal communication and deciphering the hidden messages conveyed through body language, gestures, and facial expressions.

Here are 7 lessons inspired by the book:

1: Pay Attention to Body Language: Body language can reveal a wealth of information about a person's thoughts, feelings, and intentions. Observation of gestures, posture, facial expressions, and eye contact can provide valuable clues about a person's mood, level of interest, and emotional state.

2: Look for Consistency: In reading people, consistency between verbal and nonverbal cues is key. Pay attention to discrepancies between what a person says and their body language. Incongruence may indicate underlying discomfort, deception, or hidden emotions.

3: Observe Microexpressions: Microexpressions are fleeting facial expressions that reveal genuine emotions, often occurring unconsciously and lasting only fractions of a second. Learning to recognize and interpret microexpressions can help uncover true feelings and intentions that may be masked by a person's outward demeanor.

4: Consider Context and Culture: Context and cultural norms play a significant role in interpreting nonverbal cues. What is considered appropriate or meaningful in one cultural context may differ in another. Consider the broader context and cultural background when interpreting body language to avoid misinterpretation.

5: Practice Active Listening: Effective communication involves not only observing nonverbal cues but also actively listening to what the person is saying. Pay attention to tone of voice, pace of speech, and verbal cues such as pauses or hesitations. Integrating verbal and nonverbal cues provides a more comprehensive understanding of the message being conveyed.

6: Be Mindful of Your Own Body Language: Just as you observe others' body language, be mindful of your own nonverbal cues. Your body language can influence how others perceive you and can impact the dynamics of interpersonal interactions. Practice open and confident body language to convey sincerity and approachability.

7: Practice Empathy and Perspective-Taking: Reading people involves more than just observing surface-level cues; it requires empathy and perspective-taking to understand the underlying thoughts and emotions driving behavior. Put yourself in the other person's shoes, consider their perspective, and empathize with their experiences to foster deeper understanding and connection. Copied!

SEER CORNER with Tina Amadi! Today letโ€™s talk about spiritual gifts, this is the gift I run most away from and it is because it is one that many abuse the most. I first understood the gravity of this anointing while in a prophetic prayer during a healing crusade. The spirit of God took over my body and I literally blanked out and did not know till when I was done. I found out about the things I said when I watched the program. I am very careful with this particular gift, I guard it with so much respect because God is interested in using you as a vessel to bring solutions and if you neglect the container you will become drained. It is a very sensitive position to be in. I am in awe of God! God choose who, what, when and how but He lives the obedience to us. I said yes.

In the office of a Seer with Tina, I received a vision from the Lord of a woman plotting to take the position of another. This lady is wearing a robe in the spiritual realm means that she hold a position of influence. โ€œI saw a lady tell another lady that she will take something valuable from herโ€ They are planning to take over what belongs to you, but they do not realize that God is aware of their intentions. In the past, God has caused rejection among this group of people. God has granted you the wisdom to distance yourself and create a new path. In the vision, I saw witchcraft activities, including people applying white paint or chalk on themselves as part of a ritual.

The Lord has instructed me to share this public message to expose these intentions, so that you may return to a place of prayer and find wholeness in Him. There is danger ahead for those who are not content with what they have. There are warning and exposure coming for those who want are covetous. This is the vision I received. I usually do not joke with these seer messages. I make sure to write them down and ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and clarity while I pray.

The message is clear: whatever plans you have that are against God's will shall not succeed. Do not pursue them, for they will only lead to death and destruction. May the Lord perfect everything that concerns you, in Jesus' name, amen.

If this message is for you, or someone you know, or a group of persons please pray for them, create a prayer altar of compassion and love while you intercede with others for the person, nation or families.

There is a call for prophetic intercession with psalm 35 and 26. God reveals these things to let us human know that he is aware of everything and chose who get mercy.

In the spiritual realm we are given visions as seers and intercessors to pray, interpret, obey, break, announce, cancel, reject or accept messages. It can be private or public. It can come anytime. In many cases when I receive these messages, I have learned to pray and intercede for myself and others. We do not know everything but we are given glimpse of information to heal the sick, solution and prayers.

This is the Word of the Lord; may we neither add to nor take away from it.

Who is a Seer? A seer is someone who is believed to have the ability to see visions or receive insights, often of a spiritual or prophetic nature, that are not accessible to the ordinary senses. This can include visions of the future, hidden truths, or divine revelations. In various religious and spiritual traditions, seers are considered individuals who are gifted with spiritual sight or foresight, often through divine inspiration or a supernatural connection.

In the context of Christianity, as a follower of Christ, a seer is often regarded as someone who receives visions or messages from God, similar to a prophet. They are seen as having a special sensitivity to the spiritual realm and can perceive things that are not visible or obvious to others. Their role may involve guiding, warning, or providing insight based on the visions they receive. They are not usually prophets but are a prophetic voice.
