This morning, Chief of Police Kenny Seymour had the honor of pinning the badge on Brandon Moseley as he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant during a ceremony attended by family, friends, and co-workers.

Sergeant Moseley, raised in Wallis, Texas, is the son of David Moseley and Dora Luna. A proud graduate of Brazos High School, he continued his education at Sam Houston State University, excelling both academically and athletically, culminating in his induction into the Hall of Honor for Track & Field.

Upon joining the Fulshear Police Department he quickly distinguished himself as a dedicated and informal leader. As a Field Training Officer, he has mentored and guided fellow officers, contributing to the department's growth and development in a rapidly expanding city.

Recently, Sergeant Moseley successfully navigated a challenging promotional process, showcasing the knowledge and skills required for the role. His outstanding performance and dedication have earned him this well-deserved promotion.

We are proud to recognize Sergeant Moseley's unwavering commitment to public service and his exceptional achievements. Please join us in congratulating Sergeant Brandon Moseley on this milestone in his career.

My prayer for the New Year: (please share if you like”

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we step into this New Year, we open our hearts to the infinite possibilities that await. May we embrace each day with hope, courage, and an unwavering faith in our journey.

Grant us the strength to face challenges with grace, the wisdom to choose paths that lead to growth, and the vision to recognize the blessings in every moment.

May this year be filled with light, love, and laughter. May we be kind to ourselves and others, finding peace in simplicity and joy in the smallest of things.

As we journey through each day, guide us to make a positive impact in our world, spreading kindness and compassion to all we meet.

In gratitude, we welcome this New Year, ready to create, to love, to live fully, and to be the best versions of ourselves.

Amen
