HBCUs need to reinvent and expand their curriculums to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit and mindsets of their students.
I envision a future where the majority of potential employers at HBCUs are former HBCU graduates who have blazed paths forward to start their own successful and growing businesses. This is one of the catalyst for economic parity in this country and across the world.
Over the next four years and beyond, the future will be focused on innovations in the areas such as alternative fuels/energy, environmental friendly technology, hi-tech/circuitry, bio-genetics/pharmaceuticals and others. There will also be a major focus on infrastructure rehabilitation and investment.
