WE REMEMBER
Today, as we all enjoy a day off from work, let us remember the reason why we have this freedom to spend time with our loved ones. Although this is a day we may spend at BBQs, at the beach, or on the lake with our families and friends, this is not a day of celebration, but a day of remembrance and honor. This is not a day to celebrate our veterans; that is Veterans Day. This is a day to remember and honor those who fought for our freedoms across the centuries from the Revolution through today, and who gave the greatest sacrifice, their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today.
On this Memorial Day, we pause to pay our deepest respects and heartfelt gratitude to those brave men and women. Their selflessness and unwavering dedication will forever be etched in our hearts.
Today, we remember the heroes who laid down their lives to defend the values we hold dear. They fought for liberty, justice, and the pursuit of a better world. Let us honor their sacrifice by cherishing the freedoms we enjoy and by striving to build a society that upholds their ideals.
We also remember the families and friends who have lost their loved ones in service to our nation. Your resilience and strength inspire us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and every day.
As we gather with family and friends, let's take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day. Share the stories of the brave soldiers who believed in the ideals of America so much that they were willing to give their lives to protect and defend her, and express our gratitude for their service. My grandfather was one of those who made that sacrifice; he was shot down in WWII, never to see his wife and baby girl again, and won a Purple Heart for his efforts in defending America and our freedom. In remembering them, telling their stories, and honoring them to today, together, we can ensure that their memory lives on and their sacrifices are never forgotten. At Quantum Leap Success Coaching, we remember and honor our country’s fallen.
All game some; some gave all.
Today, let us unite as a nation to honor and remember the fallen.
