Rest in Power, Miss Major

I’m feeling this one deep. Miss Major Griffin-Gracy wasn’t just a name we honored, she was family. A mother, a mentor, a warrior, and a safe place for so many of us in the trans community.

Miss Major showed me what it meant to fight with love, to lead with heart, and to never let this world break your spirit. Her presence demanded respect, but her embrace gave peace. She carried generations of us on her shoulders, teaching me how to survive, how to live, and how to matter.

I’m grateful to have walked this path while she was still here, sharing her wisdom and her truth so freely. The love she poured into me & our community will never fade.
