This means planning for emergencies, risk mitigation and being there to assist in the event of a disaster. BCSoTX believes that every business has ties to one another in a community and when one is affected we are all affected in some way. Our mission is to teach and prepare businesses continuity plans that emphasize family contingencies for employees, an organization’s most valuable assets. Communities rely on businesses to thrive and sustain. We are heavily involved in the communities we serve through organizations such as CERT, SCORE, and SBDC. We will leverage these organizations connections to the local community by hosting various preparedness planning seminars and workshops for businesses and residents. We bolster community awareness with the importance of proper planning, identifying potential hazards and their mitigation strategies, assist businesses in backing up critical data, identifying compliance and regulatory standards for continuity planning and aiding in recovery.
