"We were initially drawn to the floor plan because it felt so livable. It isn’t completely open, but every room flows beautifully into the next, which has been perfect for our young daughter and our sweet little doodle. We also love older homes, and one of the biggest reasons we chose this one was because it hadn’t been renovated. We were able to preserve so many of the original architectural details and restore the character that made us fall in love with it in the first place."

A tedious chore becomes more palatable in this whimsical laundry room designed by . Kelly Wearstler lighting brings an organic, grounded presence to the space, which overlooks expansive grounds filled with fragrant rose gardens and fruit trees.

“We installed the Kelly Wearstler Otto light as a sconce rather than a flush-mount,” explains Arterberry Cooke co-founder Barrett Cooke. “The alabaster in these lights means that each fixture is unique, which was highlighted by installing them as sconces and in multiples.”
