Responsibilities:
● Research case law.
● Gather and review case records.
● Communicate with insurance companies as needed.
● Prepare and attend pre-litigation mediations.
● Negotiate and authorize settlements.
● Counsel and communicate with clients in need to meet with an attorney.
● Medical management for clients.
● Prepare/defend clients on EUOs and recording statements.
● Develop scripts for EUO preps.
● Input on firm Standard Operating Procedures.
● Audit case list to maximize case value to clients.
● Review and approve discharges (including statistical analysis).
● Approve all low-offer cases for settlement.
● Investigate coverage issues and insurance policy research.
● Ensure compliance with 627 letters.
● Handle liability disputes.
● Manage Orlando matters as needed.
● Train paralegals and supervise on substantive issues.
● Assist Office Manager on quality control issues.
● Identify potential bad faith cases.
● Draft CRN notices.

Qualifications:
● JD from an ABA accredited law school.
● Member of the Florida Bar.
● Strong research, verbal and written communication and people skills.
● Professionalism and prioritization of client customer service and representation.
● Experience and knowledge on how to evaluate value of claims.
● Excellent attention to detail.
● Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
● Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
● Ability to work independently.
