Happy National Intern Day!

We’re celebrating our 2026 Summer Interns and the contributions they’ve made at Coburn’s this summer.

Earlier this month, our interns visited our Headquarters and one of our Distribution Centers to get an inside look at the people, processes, and teamwork that keep our operations moving. Through hands-on experience and guidance from our team members, they’ve gained valuable insight into the distribution industry and their future careers.

We’re proud to play a part in shaping the next generation of professionals and grateful to everyone who helped make this internship experience a success.

Coburn's is proud to continue our 2026 Summer Intern highlights!

Meet Joseph Marino, who interned at our Hammond location. He's from Denham Springs, LA and is majoring in Occupational Health & Safety at Northshore Technical Community College, graduating in May 2027.

What he learned about the distribution industry:
"One thing I've learned about the distribution industry is how important technology is to modern operations. Whether it's tracking inventory or pulling orders, technology helps improve efficiency throughout the entire distribution process."

What he learned about Coburn's:
"One thing I've learned about Coburn's is how the company adapts to different situations to meet customers' needs. I saw this firsthand when a customer needed 10 toilets for a daycare. Even though we had to special order them from another supplier, we were able to get the customer exactly what they needed."

Thank you, Joseph, for spending your summer with Coburn's. We wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors.
