Our company is searching for an Office & Warehouse & Office Associate to join us at our Porter location. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions.We require speed and accuracy, a positive and helpful attitude, someone who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. Fluent in Spanish is a definite plus.
After learning about the products we sell, you will also do COLD-CALLING so you must be comfortable talking with people on the phone. This position affords you the opportunity to move into a full-time sales position and move up in our company. We offer vacation / sick leave and medical / dental insurance after 90 days. Pay rate $12/hr - $15/hr depending on experience.
WAREHOUSE DUTIES:
• Detail orientated; comfortable working with numbers.
• Able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Ability to work on your feet and carry objects weighing up to 80 lbs.
• Assists with loading and unloading merchandise.
• Pick merchandise from the shelves and transport it to the shipping bay.
• Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents.
• Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control logs.
• Maintain stock and merchandise area, keeping it organized and clean.
• Removes trash by emptying trash containers.
• Maintain safe working environment by complying with procedures and rules.
• Replenish stock as required.
• Unpack pallets and check off goods against paperwork.
• Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor.
• Pack orders in an efficient manner and ensure they are accurately shipped.
CUSTOMER SERVICE / SALES DUTIES:
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Assist customers in answering questions & check for stock and availability.
• Input sales orders into computer.
• Talk to customers over the phone, email, online chat or social media to resolve their questions or concerns.
• Up-sell to customers as necessary.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, pricing, and shipping times.
• Maintain and update customer information as necessary.
• Conduct telephone inquiries / follow up calls with customers.
• Responsible for processing accurate cash and credit card transactions.
