Since 1992, JC has helped public radio stations of all sizes raise money. She draws from a commercial broadcast and retail advertising background, ten years at NPR working with over 800 member stations, and hands-on fundraising with both corporate and individual donors. JC works both short and long term assignments as interim staffing for absent development managers, accepting only two of these po
sitions simultaneously. She also offers a complete written analysis of a client's fundraising program, either in general development or in public radio underwriting. This includes marketing, board involvement, giving potential, rates, traffic, spot load, and more. Her client work includes customized sales training, pledge drive planning and production, creating marketing plans, moderating and planning board retreats, acclimating new hires to public broadcasting and more. Most HR and donor relations issues come down to generational triggers. JC trains staff members on the four generations in our work force, specializing in Millennials. She focuses on donors, volunteers, management conflicts, workstyles and more.
