A fair number of small- and medium-sized (SME) business owners/CEOs see questionable value in planning. Most probably believe that they are just fee earners for consultants. Many get them done to “tick a box” with their financial institution or as part of the eligibility criteria for public sector funding applications. Very few review and update the plans on a regular basis.
