I managed to squeeze in a day just for packing up our own Christmas to store away for next year. The majority of the work was properly addressing and purging the storage space in the first place.

There may not be a more divisive topic than that of when is appropriate to start decorating for Christmas.

Some are ready to turn on the lights as soon as the clock strikes midnight on Halloween night. Others believe it's only Christmas season after Thanksgiving has had its turn.

Where ever you fall on the spectrum, now is the perfect time to at least assess what decorations you have, what you need, and what no longer moves you. Doing this now will give you access to what will only be available in stores for a short time before new merchandise is picked over. More importantly, now is the perfect time to sell, give, or donate that which you are ready to let go.
