There's a term psychologists use for why decluttering is so much harder than it should be.

It's called the Endowment Effect.

The moment something becomes *yours*, your brain inflates how much it's worth. Even if it's been sitting in a box for four years. Even if you forgot you owned it until five minutes ago.

It's not sentimentality. It's not laziness. It's just... how we're wired.

Last week I was called something unexpected by some dear clients. They said I was "kind of like an addiction" ... I am not sure I've ever been more amused or flattered! I appreciate my clients so much, who trust me in their homes/lives. I can hardly put it into words. Being asked back time and again, building that trust and reliability is validation beyond measure.

I managed to squeeze in a day just for packing up our own Christmas to store away for next year. The majority of the work was properly addressing and purging the storage space in the first place.

I'm fully booked the rest of this week, but there's availability on the schedule next week if you need help with your space.
