Conquering Clutter with Lori

There are lots of great resources if you need inspiration. If you need in-person support, let me know if you would like to talk about your needs and how I can help.

🌻🌻🌻 Happy Saturday! Even though it's starting to feel like Summer already, there's plenty of "technically still spring" left to get those spring cleaning projects tackled. However, time *is* running out. 🫨 This is your nudge to get started... or finished. If you need help, message, text or give me a call. 🌻🌻🌻

There's a term psychologists use for why decluttering is so much harder than it should be.

It's called the Endowment Effect.

The moment something becomes *yours*, your brain inflates how much it's worth. Even if it's been sitting in a box for four years. Even if you forgot you owned it until five minutes ago.

It's not sentimentality. It's not laziness. It's just... how we're wired.

I wrote about 8 ways it shows up when we try to let things go — and honestly, reading this felt like finally getting permission to stop being so hard on myself.

Maybe it will for you too. Link in the comments 🧡

Spring has officially sprung. It's not too late to tackle those spring cleaning projects! Do you have a space, area, or whole room that has become the "catch-all" that you'd like to reclaim? Do you need help, even just getting started?

I have some space on my schedule, but Saturdays have already been snatched up all this month and most of the rest of this Spring/Summer. Please reach out if you'd like more information or if you are ready to get started.

Last week I was called something unexpected by some dear clients. They said I was "kind of like an addiction" ... I am not sure I've ever been more amused or flattered! I appreciate my clients so much, who trust me in their homes/lives. I can hardly put it into words. Being asked back time and again, building that trust and reliability is validation beyond measure.

If you need help with a short-term project, I do have time to fit you in. Just be warned, I can be habit forming.

Happy "back to regularly scheduled programming week" for most of us after the holidays and school breaks. If you're looking to get moving on your organizing and need help, I have a few spots left this week and I'm already starting to fill out next. Please reach out to book your spot.

As always, I still offer a free in-person first meeting and assessment to see if I'd be a good fit for your needs. I have straight forward pricing and only 2 hour minimum bookings.

I managed to squeeze in a day just for packing up our own Christmas to store away for next year. The majority of the work was properly addressing and purging the storage space in the first place.

I'm fully booked the rest of this week, but there's availability on the schedule next week if you need help with your space.

I hope you are enjoying this holiday season and are looking forward to another fresh start to a year in just a few short days. If you are needing help dismantling Christmas decor, or getting a jump on a New Year's resolution (or at least good intention) to reclaim your living or work spaces, please reach out. I have limited availability this week, with more flexibility starting next week.

Thank you to all of my clients and supporters for an amazing 2025! I appreciate the trust you place in me to come into your homes and lives and allow me to help.
