Day 30 From Fear to Faith YOU HAVE FAITH! YOUR REQUEST IS GRANTED. Matthew 15 v 28

It is my prayer that we are able to use our FAITH to help others. I just believe that by Faith we can go to God and ask for anything in Jesus and it will be granted. I expect God to do it. I expect that He is working it out even when I see don’t Him at work. I love to hear praise reports of how God used me to help someone for His Glory. I pray your Faith has grown during this 30 day journey. I pray that you believe that when you pray, speak or groan because you don’t have the words to say that by Faith that you know that you know that you request is granted. I pray that you will use your Faith to help someone else so that can come to realization that God is real and worthy of all the glory, honor and praise. By Faith I declare blessings upon blessings and favor upon favor as we come out of this crisis together.

Day 29 From Fear to Faith STRENGTH IN THE TEST. James 1 v3

To paraphrase Eleanor Roosevelt “People are like teabags. You never how strong they are until they’re placed in hot water.” Right now we are in hot water, but for the most part we as a people, throughout the world, have demonstrated “strength”, patience and love like never before. This strength transcends all barriers that would normally keep us apart. The test, which is COVID19, has strengthen and unified us because ALL LIVES MATTER. The lives of those infected, the lives of every first responder/essential worker, the lives of each elected official and leader, the lives of those working to find a cure and the lives of those staying at home and practicing social distancing. The test has allowed us to not only place our Faith in God but has renewed our faith in humanity. I believe this crisis has allowed many of us to demonstrate our love for God and to really love that neighbor (that one you did not know before the crisis but now are checking on and leaving care packages at the front door; that one that’s a first responder who you made masks for, that one who lost his job who never know what it was like to be unemployed and you are rally behind/motivating to keep the Faith, that neighbor who could not go to prom, celebrate his/her birthday or graduate with his/her class and you decorated your yard, organized a neighborhood parade or did something special to show that you care) as yourself. Mark 12 v 30-31
Better and stronger...together.

Day 28 From Fear to Faith WAIT ON THE LORD AND RENEW Isaiah 40 v31

I believe that while we are practicing social distancing and waiting...there are many things being renewed. Renewed relationships as many are reconnecting with family and friends via text, calls, social media and Zoom. Renewed creativity as we find new ways to do things and/or finally take the time to pursue that dream we keep putting off. Renewed outlook as we now appreciate things/people we took for granted. And renewed faith as many have looked to God not man for answers. I pray for renewed strength for all first responders and essential workers as show up every day to help others as they wait on resources and a vaccine in Jesus name amen. May we wait and be renewed together.

Day 27 From Fear to Faith THE GIFT OF SALVATION Ephesians 2 v8

My mother had incredible faith. Her faith actually caused us to have an argument. My mom had back to back strokes in 2001. One Saturday about three weeks before she went home to be with God, I told her that if she did not take her medicine that she would die. Without missing a beat she said “it’s okay (if I die) because I know where I am going.” While I did not like her answer, she showed me the true meaning of Faith. She did not fear death, while her life was incredible, her death and being with God is precious/priceless. Upon reflection, I know that through it all she was at peace. Because my mom was adamant about her salvation and taught me how to have/keep the Faith in the face of adversity, by Faith I know that I will see her again. I pray that you accept God’s most precious gift and have the opportunity to meet my mom.

Day 26 From Fear to Faith PATIENTLY WAITING ON THE PROMISE Genesis 41 v 39-40

As I reflect on Joseph during COVID19 I am reminded about both his receipt of and his response to the promise. After many years of waiting on God Joseph (received) ...was named second in charge and was positioned in the right place to help others. He was a humble servant leader who was able to lead a nation during a time of famine. Additionally. when approached by his bothers who were responsible for him being sold into slavery, instead of hurting/killing them Joseph stated “what you meant for evil against me God meant it for good in order to bring it about as it is this day to save many people alive.” Genesis 50 v 20 Upon reflection, I asked myself how do I receive and response to challenging situations? Do I continue to demonstrate the love and light of God when I encounter difficult and conniving people? Do I wait on God’s timing or do I try to manipulate/force myself into position? When I am in position do I humbly serve others? Currently do I believe that God is working all things out for our good?....My response: Lord please forgive me sometimes my thoughts and actions do no reflect your thoughts or your ways. No matter what it looks like and no matter how I feel help me to do your will, trust you and wait on you.
Today I pray that leaders will humbly lead/serve on the local, regional, national and international levels utilizing all resources at their disposal in a fair, just and equitable manner. I pray that they listen and follow wise counsel. I pray we as a people continue to do well by helping, loving and serving each other so that we can all can come of this together. Lord I trust you but in times when I don’t, help my unbelief. Thank you Lord in Jesus name I pray amen, amen and amen.
