When that “quick email” somehow turns into a 20-minute editing session…

Delete. Rewrite. Tweak. Run it through AI. Compare versions. Repeat. 😓

If that sounds familiar, I feel ya. And I’m hearing this from my coaching clients all the time right now.

The ironic thing? Trying to make every email perfect just makes it less clear, less authentic, and way more time-consuming.

That Empire State Building climbing couple has some strong opinions...even about work. 💁‍♂️ And honestly, they have a point. 😆

Your influence at work isn’t only about the big moments. It’s also about the small things, like showing a little thoughtfulness and consideration.

So don’t be the person who microwaves fish, blasts music without headphones, leaves copies on the printer, or throws trash into the can after the bag has already fallen in. Am I right?

Be known for making the office better, not...smellier.

Wrapping up my last week traveling around Texas leading workshops on owning your development. What does that mean?

Your manager can coach you. Your company can create opportunities. But no one is more responsible for your growth than you.

Ask for feedback. Stay curious. Take on new challenges. Keep learning.

Own your development, and your career becomes a whole lot less dependent on luck.

Ya gotta see this place! I’m back in the TX hill country to run some soft skill trainings for a client and found the awesome FLOPHOUZE HOTEL shipping container hotel near Round Top! So stylish, fun, artful, and relaxing. I can tell they take pride in these, which I really appreciate!
