This year, OOTR Consulting partnered with Summer House Institute to place 21 of their most qualified young men into some of Houston’s most vulnerable school programs. These brilliant Black and Brown men made a difference by tutoring students, mentoring youth, and driving enrollment efforts—all while securing scholarships to further their own education.

On Thursday, November 7, 2024, OOTR Consulting, Pfizer, AFAHC, the Delta Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Delta Gamma Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and Avenue 360 came together for a transformative health care symposium, Let’s Shape the Change!

We empowered over 100 community members with vital education on sickle cell awareness in Black communities, provided free health care access, and successfully conducted preventive screenings for one-third of participants!

Thanks to our amazing partners, attendees also received on-site resources, food, and we awarded hundreds of dollars in Community Resource Scholarships.
