A shared bathroom should never feel like an afterthought.

Designed for two young girls, this bathroom needed to do more than simply connect their bedrooms. It needed to feel personal, functional, and special for both of them.

Custom cabinetry provides generous storage for everyday routines, while the marble countertop, polished fixtures, decorative sconces, playful mirror, and soft blush palette give the room a sense of personality that can grow with them over time.

The goal was to create a shared space without making it feel generic.

A bathroom that works for two sisters today, while still feeling thoughtful and refined for years to come.

Even the shared spaces should feel uniquely considered.

Design is rarely one material or one fixture. It’s how every detail works together.

For this bathroom vanity, we paired custom cabinetry with richly veined marble, polished nickel plumbing fixtures, sculptural mirrors, and marble accent lighting.

Each element has its own presence, but none competes for attention.

The dark marble creates contrast.
The polished nickel adds a layer of reflection.
The mirrors introduce shape and character.
And the illuminated marble sconces bring warmth and depth to the wall.

When we design a home, these elements aren’t selected independently and assembled at the end.
They’re coordinated as part of the overall design so the finished space feels intentional from every angle.
That’s where thoughtful design makes the difference.

Some of the best opportunities for design are found in the rooms no one expects.

For years, laundry rooms were designed to be practical, simple, and tucked away.
Today, they can be some of the most playful spaces in the home.

For this laundry room, we used color, pattern, custom cabinetry, marble, and polished hardware to give an everyday room its own personality.
The result is a room that still works hard, but feels completely considered.

We don’t reserve thoughtful design for the kitchen, living room, or spaces guests see first.
We consider the entire home - and how our clients experience it every day.

Same 50-foot West U lot. A very different approach.

We could have pushed the house forward and created one large two-story presence at the street.
Instead, we created layers.

Two-story volume forward.
Garage set back approximately ten feet.
Additional massing unfolding deeper into the property.

The result creates something valuable on a narrow property: visual depth.
Architecture isn’t always about making a house feel bigger.
Sometimes it’s about knowing where to pull back.

A house can announce itself at the curb - or unfold as you approach.
