CLINICAL PHARMACIST POSITION – PART-TIME GROWTH TO FULL-TIME
for Houston, Texas and Surrounding Areas

MTS is positioning itself as the leader in redefining current clinical pharmacy services provided to older adults. We are seeking a clinical pharmacist in the Houston area interested in taking the next step in their professional growth, development, and joining us in our passion for Senior care.
The position is a part-time consultant pharmacist role for 1-2 days/week of responsibilities as required by state and federal rules and regulations in our Houston area-based provider sites. Secondarily, MTS is seeking a candidate with an interest in working with its executive leadership team to establish, strengthen, and transform our current clinical that will expand this position to an additional 1-2 days per week working collaboratively in partner provider sites. This will require an initial completion of an intense training through the Avant institute to develop knowledge and practical skills and familiarize the pharmacist with the resources necessary to be successful in project development and implementation of our future collaborative clinical services program. https://www.avantinstitute.com. MTS will cover the cost of the training with the Avant Institute.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency program is preferred but not required.
• Texas licensed, registered pharmacist
• Prefer experiential training / experience in clinical practice experience in care for older adults
• Residence in the Houston area of Texas.
