It's time to properly introduce the journey behind The Texas CFO.
I’m Taylor Cadotte, a proud native Houstonian with a spreadsheet in one hand and a brisket sandwich 😁 in the other (IYKYK). I've lived all over this great state — from the streets of Austin, to the beautiful trails of Plano/Dallas, and plenty of weekends spent eating tacos and floating down the river in Bastrop. 👙
But no matter where I’ve lived, I’ve always had one foot in the numbers and the other in the heart of small business.

I began my career working alongside a former PwC auditor in Austin, learning the technical ropes of accounting and how to really read what financials are trying to tell us. That experience opened my eyes to what business owners truly need: clear insight, strategic thinking, and someone who actually speaks their language.
Eventually, I realized I didn’t just want to work in a business — I wanted to build one. So I was left with this question: How could I wrap my love for Texas, our hospitality and the big dreams into a business name..... ???
Incomingggg, The Texas CFO was born. ❤️
