When people ask us about recommending roasters or technicians or absolutely anything we always say: get the one closest to your shop. If you can become your Roaster/Technician's regular morning coffee stop, they will do everything they can to make sure you have amazing coffee.

Case in point: .bikes is on my way to work. I stopped in and bought the bike and many mornings I see the guys getting to the shop and many days I see them when I leave.

I've stopped in about 6 times just because they are nice and I am a geek with questions and easily 4 of those times they have said oh hey we got an upgraded version of this component or oh let me do a software update or make sure your spokes are tight or literally just find any excuse to put their hands on my bike and make sure it's awesome.

This is why we buy local! You can't get this kind of amazing service without a relationship.
