Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) vs. Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Internet

Starlink has changed the game for extremely remote locations and internet on the go. But if your home can be served by Mark Twain's Fixed Wireless network, why choose satellite?

✅ Low latency for gaming and video calls
✅ Fast speeds, with plans up to 1 Gbps in select areas
✅ Unlimited data
✅ Local support from Northeast Missouri
✅ Plans starting at just $55/month

Our terrestrial Fixed Wireless network keeps your connection closer to home, delivering a fast, responsive experience for streaming, gaming, working, learning, and more.

Starlink is an excellent solution when terrestrial broadband isn't available. But when Mark Twain FWA is an option, it's often the better choice for fixed home internet.

We're a little late sharing this, but we wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 Knox County Corn Festival such a great event!

The turnout was fantastic, the atmosphere was incredible, and we truly enjoyed visiting with everyone who stopped by the Mark Twain booth. We always appreciate the opportunity to connect with our friends, neighbors, and customers throughout Northeast Missouri.

We also had a great time participating in the parade and being part of one of Knox County's favorite annual traditions. Events like the Corn Festival remind us how fortunate we are to serve such a wonderful community.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by to say hello. We already look forward to seeing you again next year!

When most people think about cameras, they think about security. At Mark Twain, our cameras sometimes capture something even more exciting: a front-row seat to Northeast Missouri's incredible wildlife.

This bobcat was spotted in Clark County, a county that never disappoints when it comes to wildlife activity. Whether it's deer, turkey, coyotes, or elusive cats like this one, the cameras connected through our network regularly remind us how much natural beauty surrounds us every day.

An iconic F-14 Tomcat made its way through Northeast Missouri on September 17, and Mark Twain's camera network was there to capture the journey. Thanks to cameras located throughout our service area, we were able to catch glimpses of this legendary fighter jet as it traveled through several of the communities we serve.

A special thanks to Worldwide Aircraft Recovery, the company responsible for transporting this incredible piece of aviation history. Seeing an aircraft that once ruled the skies rolling down Missouri highways is definitely not something you see every day!

At Mark Twain, we believe in letting technology perform at its full potential.
