The community of Idlewild is a 3.5 hours drive from Detroit, MI. It is located 30 minutes east of Ludington, MI and 30 minutes north of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI. History
For four decades after its establishment in 1912, Idlewild was a rural retreat for African Americans seeking a bit of rest and relaxation outside the confines of their segregated communities. They enjoyed

Idlewild’s natural beauty and year-round sporting activities, as well as some of the best musical entertainment west of New York City. Today
Things to do: play on Idlewild all-sports lake, take up a game at one of several nearby golf courses, hike Manistee National Forest, fish or canoe on the Pere Marquette River, bike or take your ORV out on the trails and so much more.

Celebrate America's 250th birthday with us this 4th of July weekend as we reflect on the past and hope for growth & positivity in the future!

We are offering a limited menu this weekend, as our kitchen staff is enjoying a much-needed vacation! Please note we our change of hours 8- 11 AM this holiday weekend. Fuel up with us then head out to enjoy the parade and some fellowship with our Idlewild community! 

The Menu:
Our signature Idlewild hot brown breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs (turkey or ham)

3 varieties of lassi smoothies in red, white & blue. Choose strawberry, vanilla-lemon, or blueberry-lavender. If you've never had a lassi, ask us for a sample of our favorite refreshing summer drink!

If you're in a hurry, grab some of our ready-to-go pastries, muffins, or overnight oats & a percolated brew.

This Weekend's Barista Feature:
The Red, White & Brew 🇺🇸☕️
- A delicious sip of summer with espresso, creamy white chocolate, smooth vanilla, and a house-made sweet cream cold foam finishes with a festive flair.

If you're hungry, but in a hurry, come in to grab some of our ready-to-go items, or try this weekend's barista feature, the Live At Latte, a delicious hazelnut mocha, served hot or cold!

It's not too late... tickets can still be purchased at the gate. Live At Idlewild Music Festival runs 1-7pm, Sat & Sun 6/27 & 28 at The Yates Township Complex 6347 Nelson Rd. Idlewild, Michigan.

🎶Please note we are closing a bit early this weekend to head to Live At Idlewild! Visit us from 8am-12. Kitchen closes at 11:45.
