Back pain takes things from you: sleep, work, patience, the version of yourself your family is used to. And most people arrive here after years of being told the same thing: manage it, live with it, or eventually, have the surgery.

CPI has performed between 5,000 and 6,000 spinal procedures. More stem cell spinal injections than any hospital in Mexico.

Here’s how the procedure that has helped thousands of people get their lives back.

1. Imaging. Your MRI goes to our radiologist, a musculoskeletal specialist who has reviewed more than 5,000 scans. He sets your baseline and builds the plan with your treating physician.

2. The evaluation. Your images get checked against your symptoms.

3. The procedure. You’re sedated, then positioned. Every needle is placed under fluoroscopy live X-ray and confirmed before anything is connected. Only then do the cells leave the freezer. They have to stay cold, so the standard is ten minutes from freezer to spine.

4. Overnight. Needles out, recovery room, then a night in the hospital post-sedation monitoring. A safety standard.

5. The next morning. You rejoin the group and finish your week,stem cell IVs, NAD+.

Every Monday we take that week’s patients out to dinner. Whole group, one table, real restaurant. Not a conference room, not a consultation,a dinner.

People show up nervous. They’ve usually been told somewhere else that there’s nothing more to be done, and they’ve flown in carrying that by themselves. Then somebody two seats down says the exact thing they’ve been thinking, and you watch their shoulders drop.

That’s the whole reason we do it. By Friday they’re trading phone numbers.
I also want you to be able to look an owner in the eye and ask whatever you want. Ask us about the lab. Ask us what we do if it doesn’t go how you hoped. You should be able to ask that question to somebody who can actually answer it and Monday night, we are sitting right there.

You can plant the best seed in the world, but if the soil is dead, nothing grows.

That’s the thing about damaged tissue. All of it is usually oxygen starved. Blood flow is poor in there, which is part of why it stopped healing in the first place. So when you put cells into that environment, you’re asking them to go to work somewhere that can barely keep them alive.

Hyperbaric oxygen changes that environment before and after we introduce a single cell.
When you’re under pressure breathing pure oxygen, the oxygen stops relying on your red blood cells to get around. It dissolves straight into your plasma, into the fluid itself, and it reaches tissue that circulation alone can’t really feed.

So the cells land somewhere they can actually survive. The inflammation that would have worked against them comes down. Your body starts building new blood vessels, which means the area keeps getting fed long after you fly home. And your own stem cells get mobilized to join in.

The cells are the treatment. The oxygen is what makes the site worth treating.
It’s also why we don’t hand you a discharge sheet. We bring patients back at 6 and 12 months for imaging, and we adjust the plan based on what we actually see in there.
