There’s just something about that dirt in the arena. It’s the equalizer.

That dirt has seen champions rise, lessons learned, and young people grow into leaders.

I want to send a big congratulations to all of our LSU State Livestock Show Winners this year! 🏆 Your long hours paid off. The banners are nice… but the character you built along the way is what really matters.

To every exhibitor who stepped into that arena; whether you left with a buckle, a banner, or just more determination. I’m proud of you. The work you put in doesn’t go unnoticed.

It’s an honor to stand in that arena dirt with you.

Keep working. Keep showing. Keep believing.

Picture It…South Louisiana 1997. Pig Sticks were sticks, only beef cattle fitted legs and our dreams were as big as the buckles! My dear friend, Emily, passed on this little clipping reminding us both of where it all began! Great livestock! Great mentors! Great Friends!
