One of Indianapolis’ most recognizable Indiana Pacers superfans is turning fandom into a brand partnership.
Local fan personality “ThaBaconman” has teamed up with Indiana-based HotBox Pizza for a new campaign featuring his custom “Bacon Man Pizza” along with the Pacers Party Pack combo, marking one of the more visible collaborations between an Indianapolis creator and a statewide food brand.
If you’ve spent time around Gainbridge Fieldhouse during Pacers games, chances are you’ve seen him. Known for his bacon-themed outfits, Pacers gear, and energetic presence around downtown, Bacon Man has built a following as one of the city’s most recognizable fan personalities.
Now that visibility is translating into business.
The campaign rollout also includes a new commercial filmed around downtown Indianapolis, featuring a guest appearance from Indy music scene staple Lamont Austin.
The partnership highlights a growing trend where local creators, superfans, and community personalities are becoming marketing partners for Indiana-based brands, using their platforms and personalities to promote products tied to the city’s culture and sports scene.
