Last Friday, SMS had the honor of attending the Girls Inc. graduation, and we are still thinking about the energy, confidence, and potential in that room.

We are especially proud to celebrate one of our own, our intern Nyla, along with all of the incredible young women who graduated.

A quote from Michelle Freeman captured the moment perfectly: “The world doesn’t need you to shrink, it needs you to expand.”

That is exactly the kind of leadership and boldness we believe in at SMS. The future is brighter because of these young women, and we cannot wait to see how they continue to expand what is possible.

We are excited to offer an upcoming Simplex Creative Problem Solving Workshop designed to strengthen how individuals and teams approach innovation, decision-making, and complex challenges.

This hands-on, two-day experience will guide participants through a structured, proven process to move from identifying the right problems to implementing effective solutions.

Workshop Details:

Dates: June 9–10, 2026
Time: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM each day
Location: Keystone River Crossing, Indianapolis, Indiana
Investment: $1,450 per person
Included: Coffee and lunch both days
Participants will earn their Level I Creative Problem Solving Certification and leave with practical tools they can immediately apply to their work.

This training is based on the Simplex methodology by Basadur Applied Innovation, a globally recognized approach that breaks innovation into clear, actionable steps.
