I did not watch the interview. Had no interest in watching legacy media edit and cherry pick the parts they wanted for their narrative. Colion Noir says it was good. Maybe I'll find a rebroadcast and watch it.

Some people will try to use the excuse of being "outgunned" when talking pistol vs rifle. Others will talk about some movie scenario of using a pistol to "fight their way to a rifle". Neither are based in reality.

The reality is that having a rifle is optimal, but impractical, for the good guys. You will end the fight with what you have within reach. A pistol can win against a rifle. It's happened multiple times in the military and civilian side.

For the civilian side there is the Greenwood mall shooting - pistol vs rifle. Good guy won and saved lives. There are multiple police shootings where cops with pistols stopped shooters with rifles.

Red dots for pistols seem to have reached a point where they're reliable enough for daily carry. The Aimpoint, Inc. COA seems to be the best currently. The gen 6 G***K feels like a new pistol. It's much more ergonomic and "feels" thinner. The flatter trigger feels better, although not as familiar. 😁

I wonder why they went away from the dual recoil spring. 🤔

It will take a lot of reps to get used to looking for the red dot. It's a subtle, but significant change from looking for the front sight when pressing out to full extension.
