Do you have any plans this Saturday? If not, we have something for you. If you do, make sure to move some things around so you can come! On February 14, 2026 from 10:30 to noon, The History of Beekeeping will be at the Carnegie Cultural Center in New Hampton. We are fortunate to be featured! From February 14 through March 21, we will have a display on beekeeping. There are bee suits for kids to try on, a bee box with frames that have information on beekeeping, pictures of bees, and more! Once you finish looking at the display, there is so much more to look at! There are old glasses, a circus, trains, and so much more!

Happy Small Business Sunday! Today we will be recognizing Dutch Valley Store, located in Orchard. They are a grocery store that sells food in bulk and tons of baking supplies. They also sell our honey in sizes 5lbs, 2lbs, 1lb, and 12oz bears, 8oz bottles, as well as our gallons. They also sell fabrics, books, board games, cookbooks, office supplies, and more!

They are currently available in-store at Get Roasted Company in Waverly! We are working on bringing them into more stores. We will keep you updated when they arrive at a new location!

Hello everyone, we have some exciting news! Yesterday, our honey became available for purchase in-store at Get Roasted Coffee Company! Kellogg’s Honey was previously used in different drinks and protein balls, however now, you can purchase it directly in-store! Get Roasted also has more new items, including candles and even books! Simply Iowa Candle Company makes the candles and they smell amazing. While they now sell books, they are also looking for used books. With all of these new and amazing goods at Get Roasted, it is time to stop and make a trip!

Happy Friday, everyone! We apologize for being inactive over the past couple of weeks. The truth is, we have been in California checking on the bees! Brian worked with four other guys, two from Iowa and the other two from California. We checked our own bees, along with over 6,000 others. The bees go down to California every winter to help pollinate the almond orchards. When we go down, we feed, treat, and make sure the bees are healthy. On the last day we were there, we had some extra time and went to the mountains. Fun fact, Brian says he got stung enough for the year already!
