Did You Know....
Free floating cancer cells will not cause you to feel any symptoms. According to the American Cancer Society, you may not feel any symptoms until enough of the cancer cells aggregate, or clump together, to form a tumor. As the cancer grows, it'll start to push against nearby organs, blood vessels and nerves and you'll start to feel that something is just not right. Common signs and symptoms include: weakness, dizziness, tiredness, unexplained weight loss, fever and pain. You may also experience organ specific discomfort/symptomology if the cancer has isolated and latched on to a particular organ: back pain if the colon, prostate, pancreas, testicular, ovarian or uterine cancer is present; unusual bleeding or discharge;changes in skin color and texture or sores that do not heal; changes in bowel habits or bladder function; indigestion or trouble swallowing; thickening or lump in breast; nagging cough or hoarseness. Pay attention to your body and seek medical attention if you experience any of the above that lasts more than a couple of weeks.
