There’s just something about an empty space that feels full of possibility.

We started moving our stuff to our new apartment, which basically means figuring out where the couch should go, which corner gets the kids’ toys, and where all the little moments of life will happen. It’s a fresh start… a blank canvas. It’s a reminder that home isn’t the walls - it’s what we build inside them. ♥️

I’m an OR Nurse Manager, so why do I still want a digital business?

Because I don’t believe in relying on one source of income. As a salaried employee, my pay stays the same whether I have an easy day or one of the hardest days of my career.

I don’t want more money because I’m greedy. I want more money because I want less stress.

I want to be a happier mom to my kids, a better wife to my husband, and someone who isn’t constantly worrying about the next bill or unexpected expense.

Nursing gives me stability. Building something online gives me possibility. And I believe there’s room for both. ❤️

My son’s teacher told him he’s the only kid in class who always gives birthday gifts. My husband and I used to joke that being too generous is the reason we don’t have a lot of savings in the bank, but honestly… what a beautiful thing it is to be able to give.

We may not have everything yet, but I love that our mindset has never been “keep everything for ourselves.” We dream of becoming well off not just so we can live comfortably, but so we can give more freely - to family, friends, and even strangers who might need a little kindness.

Chocolate reminds me of digital business. There are so many flavors, styles, and ways to do it. What works for one person might not work for another. The key is finding what fits you and staying consistent enough to grow it into something sweet. 🍫

Remember this? The OG cupcake. People used to line up for these. Now a lot of people are into low sugar, matcha and wellness drinks because trends changed. Businesses that adapted survived. The ones that didn’t, slowly faded.

That’s how I see digital business too. The online space keeps changing, and the people willing to learn, adjust, and grow are the ones who keep moving forward. What worked years ago may not work now, and that’s okay. You either stay stuck in the “old way” or stay open to new opportunities.

My son is my definition of consistency. Showing up every single week for swim class, even when it’s hard, even when he was still learning and unsure.

Close to a year later, the progress is amazing to watch. He used to panic when his face went under water and he didn’t know what to do. Now he’s doing backstroke and freestyle like such a big kid. 🥹

So proud of how far he’s come just by continuing to show up every week. This also serves as a little reminder for me that small progress is STILL progress.

Taking action doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful for your job. It means you’re thinking ahead. As nurses, we take care of everyone else every single day, but sometimes we forget to protect our own future too.
