Today, we had to say goodbye to the best friend anyone could ever be blessed with—Samson.

He wasn’t just a dog—he was our shadow, our protector, and the perfect companion. When the demons were loud, he was quiet strength. Through every chapter—traveling to 40 states, riding on airplanes, boats, in high-rises, luxury estates, and even iconic places like the Seattle Space Needle—he was there. From the hardest days, when we were homeless and living on couches or in the car, to the joy of retiring on your own acreage with a pool, chickens, and plenty of squirrels—you were there through it all. Loyal, steady, and strong.

Samson was more than a companion. He was home, no matter where we were. We’ll carry his love and loyalty forever.
