In one week, surgery will be complete! I took a lot of time researching how to best prepare my body before and love my body after surgery. I learned a lot more than I planned and am going to continue many of these for the long haul!
Body trauma, required medications, travel, catheters, stress and inflammation are all on the table. These are my tools to prepare and heal as a 43 year old.

Why I leverage peptides, bioregulators and activators to feel my best at 43… trying to keep this lesson easy to understand 🩵

💙Peptides are short chains of amino acids- they deliver really clear instructions to a specific receptor. They say “Do this action now!”
💙Your body makes peptides. But, as you age, the “clear instructions” are weak and often arrive late.

🩵Bioregulators are ultra-short peptides (2-4 derived from tissue: thymus, pineal, cartilage, retina). These bind to DNA promoter regions to restore proper cellular expression. They say “Return to your original operating instructions!”
🩵Thymus bioregulators > immune gene expression
🩵Pineal bioregulators > circadian, melatonin related genes
🩵Cartilage bioregulators > chondrocyte (so thankful for my semester in human A+P five years ago) matrix genes
🩵Cells forget their youthful identity 👶🏻 - bioregulators don’t “replace”, they remind cells of what they used to do.

🩶Activators are compounds that activate existing cell pathways. Pretty straightforward. They amplify what already works. They say “Use your own system more efficiently!”
🩶As we age, the pathways still exist, but they are understimulated. Activators wake up ⏰ your cells.

Cliffs Notes:
📝 Peptides drive repair where needed.
📝Bioregulators correct gene expression (remember my telomere talk?)
📝Activators restore the signal environment.

If perimenopause suddenly feels HARDER, there’s a reason. Your body isn’t failing- it is asking for a different strategy.

Midlife is a season of physiological recalibration. Hormones shift, metabolism changes, recovery slows- and the strategies that once worked may no longer be enough.

Longevity is built on a solid foundation of nutrition, movement, sleep, nervous system regulation and metabolic health.

For me, peptides are a complement to my foundation of healthy, loving routines. Peptides were never about a “shortcut” for me- they helped me understand my biology and support it with precision 🩵

3. Evan moving onto high school
4. Costa Rica!
5. Making the decision to have remove my implants and repair my muscles
6. The relief when it was over
7. Having a new driver = anxiety overload ;)
8. Celebrating 20 beautiful married years
9. The year of “us”- carving out pockets to enjoy each other and grossing out our kids with excessive PDA 🩵
10. Growing as a unit- creating a home where all questions, feelings and words are welcomed.
What a year we had and I thank you for sharing these moments of life with us. Mothering, aging, revitalizing a marriage, hormones, surgeries, growing a business and finding the miracle moments along the way is a gift. 2026 is yet to be written but I can tell you I am here to embrace the highs, lows and sharing all the in-betweens with you all. 1/2 cup liquid egg whites
1/4 cup cottage cheese
2 scoops pumpkin spice or vanilla protein (used and it’s delish!)
1.5 TB psyllium husk
2 tablespoons almond flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp olive oil
Vanilla extract, cinnamon and pink salt (to taste)
61 grams of protein for this one serving recipe! You can also turn these into to pancakes if you do not have a waffle 🧇 iron!

I began my peptide journey 12 weeks ago with the intention of bringing my cholesterol and A1c markers down. I scheduled my labs health for 12 weeks after my first microdose of GLP1/GIP (Tirzepatide).

I am a numbers and data girl. My numbers today speak to the power of this peptide.

I didn’t change anything else about my lifestyle.

My dose never changed.
