16 YEARS AND DODGE STILL WON’T REDESIGN THE DURANGO! 😂
Believe it or not, the Dodge Durango is heading into 2027 riding on the same basic generation that was introduced back in 2011!
That’s 16 years without a complete redesign!
Now, Dodge has definitely made some improvements over the years, but instead of giving us an entirely new Durango, they’re introducing more colors and interior options for 2027.
Here’s what’s new:
* New Smokescreen exterior color: $595
* New Petrol Blue Laguna leather seats for the Hellcat Jailbreak: $2,995
* More customization options
And they’re still offering some serious V8 power!
5.7L HEMI: 360 HP
6.4L 392 HEMI: 475 HP
6.2L Supercharged HEMI: 710 HP
Here’s what’s crazy. Despite its age, Durango sales are actually UP 13% this year!
Personally, I still think the Durango looks good, especially the SRT models. And I respect Dodge for keeping the HEMI alive. Not many manufacturers are still offering a 710 HP, three-row family SUV!
But man, 16 years is a LONG time to keep the same basic design. 😂
So here’s my question. Is Dodge smart for sticking with something that works, or are they just being lazy by refusing to redesign it?
And Durango owners, would you even want a completely redesigned Durango, or do you prefer the current body style?
