Join Janesville Young Professionals

10/16/2026

Ready to make an impact on the next generation?

This November, JOIN Janesville Young Professionals is teaming up with the Boys & Girls Club of Janesville for Career Interrogation Day — and we need local professionals to take the hot seat!

We’re inviting young professionals from all industries to volunteer and let local students put their careers to the test. The students will ask the questions, investigate your career path, and see if they can crack the case! 🔎

Whether you work in the trades, healthcare, education, business, manufacturing, or something totally different, your story could inspire a future career!

📅 Wednesday, November 4
⏰ 4:30–5:30 PM (volunteers arrive at 4:00 PM)
📍 Boys & Girls Club of Janesville

🙌 Want to volunteer? Help us inspire the next generation, share your experiences, and show students the incredible career opportunities right here in our community!

⛳️ A great day on the green!

JJYP was excited to be part of the Forward Janesville Inc Golf Outing last week! A huge thank you to W**d Man Lawn Care team for donating their tee sponsorship to support JJYP, and to Forward Janesville for continuing to support and invest in our young professionals program.

Opportunities like the Golf Outing are a great way for JJYP to connect with local businesses, build relationships, and get our program in front of even more members of the community.

And we’re not slowing down! 👀

JOIN Janesville's monthly Coffee Hour was a little different this month!

We welcomed the new Janesville Business Academy (JBA) students from the School District of Janesville, WI, at Parker High School - Janesville, WI and Joseph A. Craig High School, to kick off their year in the wild — connecting with local young professionals, hearing their career journeys, and learning about the opportunities right here in our community.

It is all about showing the next generation what’s possible in your own backyard! 🌱

And a little proof that young professional is a mindset, not an age! 😉 One of our seasoned JOIN members had a crew of JBA students gathered around for some career wisdom — a great reminder that there’s no age limit on making connections, sharing experiences, or inspiring the next generation.

Want to help lift up the next generation? There are so many ways to get involved with JBA — from speaking to a classroom, mentoring students or helping them discover the opportunities Janesville has to offer. Every connection makes a difference in helping young talent see a future here in our community!

Thanks to Forward Janesville Inc and the JBA Business Partners, this program is possible.

Let’s keep building connections, opening doors, and keeping young talent local! 💛
