Last weekend I read a line in Italian that wouldn't let me go.
"La famiglia non è una cosa importante, è tutto." Family isn't an important thing. It's everything.

I've spent 30+ years building businesses, starting over, and carrying dreams that weren't always ready for the world. That line made me stop thinking about my own journey and look straight at the people who lived through it with me. Not because they chose to build a company. Because I did, and they showed up anyway.

Entrepreneurs get called visionary, resilient, independent. Most of that is borrowed. Wrote something longer about who it's really borrowed from, and what we owe them back.
