I used to end every sales call completely wiped out.

And it wasn’t just the calls. It was everything else sitting on top of them. The inbox. The client work. The content. The admin. The calls were just the thing that finally broke me every single day.

I kept thinking I needed to get better at sales. Better at handling objections. Better at closing. So I’d get on the next call and try harder. Prove more. Explain longer.

It never worked.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out what was actually going on.

I used to think hiring would slow me down.

That it would be faster to just do it myself
That no one could do it like I do
That I’d “figure it out” eventually

Truth?

That mindset cost me growth, energy, and time I’ll never get back

Because the longer I tried to carry it all myself
The heavier it got
Until I was working harder than ever
But somehow making less progress

What I’ve learned is this

You don’t get to your next level by doing more
You get there by doing less of the wrong things
You stop trying to be everything
