We got the opportunity to take the bees to Dukes class on Monday. This was a very fun opportunity to let the kids see all the tools and learn about honey bees! 🐝 🍯 Thank you to Jerseyville East and Mrs. Kimble for the opportunity.

Felicity planted some sunflower seeds late this year. They bloomed recently and the honeybees are appreciating them

New queens! Hard to tell without a comparison but virgin queens are much smaller. In the next week these girls will go on mating flights. Once they return they will get bigger to the point they can’t fly.
