Several months behind schedule, but I finally finished the draft I started after our engagement. Take a peek for a bit more explaining on this special day. Over the last month, I have gone through a series of rounds competing for a spot on the 2021 Chiefs Cheerleading team. I was blessed enough to make it as a finalist and visit Arrowhead stadium for the first time ever this past weekend!!

Although, it wasn’t the answer I was hoping for, God said, not yet! Regardless of this, I am SO happy that I took the chance and put myself out there to follow a dream! The experience was truly immaculate and the incredible women I had the opportunity to meet, had a lot to do with that!

Congratulations to the 34 members who got their YES! Im just as excited to support from the sidelines and cheer on the Chiefs as we go on to win that 3rd super bowl!😉

Don’t be afraid to go for those dreams and goals. God has a purpose for it all, EVEN if the result isn’t what you hoped it to be. Never trying for something only deprives you of the opportunity to befriend someone, be inspired, inspire others, make the team, or share the joy of Jesus’s love!

My biggest takeaway from this experience is that I continue to have the MOST incredible support system in the world. I’m thankful to be around those who genuinely believe in me and push me to reach for the stars.

I’ve been daydreaming about our future a lot lately, especially as we creep closer and closer to our wedding day. My heart is completely at peace knowing that whatever life throws our way, you and I will take it on together! Whether we end up building businesses, starting a family, moving far away, or staying where we are, I know it’ll be because God made it so and we will be fulfilling a greater plan!
